Sanctuary in the Wild Orchard: Empowering Our Gifts for the Emerging Worlds
August 14—18, Taos New Mexico
As one world crumbles, many of us are sensing other worlds on the horizon, the myriad possibilities of what else could be. On the daily, we may be experiencing glimmers or visions from places more loyal to beauty, care and the preciousness of this life.
We maybe growing more aware, even sure, we are carrying something vital and blessed within us for those other worlds and possible futures.
Yet how do we protect and nurture these emergent seeds as we make our way through the rubble and chaos of these times?
How can we empower these nascent dreams and visions? How might we turn on the deep gifts and capacities within us for tending these worlds?
We believe that Sanctuary is a key. Meet Your hosts and find out more.
We invite you to join us in a Wild Orchard in Taos, New Mexico—to rest, regenerate, (re)awaken your deepest gifts and visions, and be held by a community of kindred spirits on an abundant, regenerative farm.
Across 4 days, we will make sanctuary together—rooting into old notions of finding asylum in wild law and sacred ground beyond the human sphere—to empower and embody the gifts and medicines we are carrying for emergent worlds.
We will attune to, track with and nurture those other worlds, what we are carrying within, and each other, through the following modalities:
Embodiment, grounding, and listening practices,
Somatic / sensory-based immersions on the farm and in the wild (at a nearby area in the national forest),
Journeys/guided meditations into the imaginal,
Ways of Council—sharing our stories and insights in circle and small groups
Creative expression (drawing/art-making, poeting, storytelling, sounding, movement, dance, etc.)
Collective altar-building on the land
Harvesting fruit and processing apples, peaches, apricots, pears, etc. together
Rest and relaxation—nervous system rejuvenation (with access to body workers)
