Winter Descended Upon Taos

It was a quiet and still winter with little precipitation. Despite the low snow fall, we enjoyed Taos Ski Valley to the fullest. The dogs enjoyed themselves and even a few brave hip campers descended upon us. Toasty warm fires accompanied us through the winter evenings as we read books such as Braiding Sweet Grass by Robin Wall Kimmerer and her latest book, Serviceberry.
